I grew up on a cattle and sheep farm in the foothills of North Carolina,
with a great love for animals, and always a golden by my side.
Since the age of five when I owned my 1st Golden Retriever, I have known Goldens to be Man’s AND Girls’ best friend,
* Not to mention the best dog ever to grow up with kids. *
Since discovering the gorgeous European Cream Goldens some years ago, & discovering the great difficulty in finding and owning one of my own from reputable breeders in the South, specifically the Carolinas,
I decided to embark on a life-long desire of mine to become a responsible breeder to this wonderful breed on my own terms, aspiring to great integrity.
After discussion with our family veterinarian who took care of our farm animals over the years, & many heartfelt discussions with my supportive husband & adventurous, loving kids, we have made these dogs not only our small family business, but they are a passionate joy of our daily lives. – Patricia Schmoutz
